And while everyone splurges on other things, I choose blueberries.
Blueberries all day, everyday.
One box at a go.
Non stop.
Chew, chew, chew.
Blueberries -- I found plump ones and it was to my greater joy that I found even more plump ones around lately. I've been granted the joy of eating them all full of sweet juices unlike the ones we miserably get in Malaysian supermarkets. But nonetheless blueberries and blueberries make me happy.
The point is:
It's satisfying when it crushes under my bite, and the juices spill over.
Sweet and quenching the flames of the tongue, the burns of the heart.
Such a pretty little thing
poured out of its skins for the contentment of others.
Maybe we're meant to be that way too.
